If renaming, add .old at the terminate.  That way if you need to revert back you can do so by removing the .old from the names.

At present one time you reboot your PC, login with your formerly messed up user account. That will cause a make new profile will be created.

The only remaining pace is to copy your data back from the messed upwardly profile over to your new profile.

DO Not re-create all contents from the old profile to the new profile as this will interruption your newly created profile. Rather copy over only the folders such as Desktop, Downloads, Favorites, Links, My Documents, My Music, My Pictures, and My Videos.
